Inspiring.

This website is charming, it shows how a mother and an artist is accepting of change. By allowing her 4 year old daughter to finish some of her drawings, Mica Angela Hendricks created a quirky new twist on her old art. As an artist we have to learn to let go, once we let go we can accept and potentially enjoy or learn from what the next artist will do. Learning begins outside of your comfort zone, and this is an amazing example of it. Myla (4 years old) and Mica creates art together, its a team effort. Mica draws the head, Myla draws the body and background then the drawing goes back to Mica to add a splash of colour. I think it is a great way to teach Myla to share and accept what her mom is going to do with her work after she is finished with it and vise-versa.
